Marrow of Life

“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. I did not wish to live what was not life...I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life...” -Walden, Chapter 2

No angst, no religion, no agenda - just that which I love and makes me happy, including food, alcohol, coffee, bikes, travel and the outdoors.

I have an immense appetite for solitude, like an infant for sleep, and if I don’t get enough for this year, I shall cry all the next.

I think the most important part of this is that “You had a good idea!”. Yeah, let’s hear that again: “You had a good idea!”
and again: “You had a good idea!” I like the way this sounds…may it get reposted a thousand times over…
“You had a good idea!” echo, echo, echo…

First “Thanks” should probably go to Marrowoflife (tumblr) R. Newhouse for first bringing up Tumblr while looking over this scene.   At the beginning I was thinking that most of the content was likely generated by the super computer “watson” and that all the people here were imaginary.  Perhaps you are.  Thank you watson for being so nice.  :)
My previous statement that tumblr sounded “dumb” was inaccurate.  I was interested in the idea, but not particularly interested in any social media at the time.  Sorry, Ryan. You had a good idea!
